Each of the above Down Payment Assistance programs are offered through different lenders and institutions. Some programs expire after a certain date, or a certain amount of loans, or after the funds are exhausted; some programs continue indefinitely. Because they're all different and change constantly - never before has there been one site to give you the opportunity to apply for ALL the publicly available programs at once. We feel that your time is valuable and that you shouldn't have to research all the possible types of programs you may qualify for - so we do it for you.
When you apply, you are applying for a mortgage and any available down payment assistance grants or loans. One of our Down Payment experts reviews your application to see what you may qualify for out of all the down payment assistance programs. Once your eligibility is determined, your application is submitted to a lender that accepts the down payment assistance funds for which you are eligible.
These websites are sponsored by MLS Mortgage Group, a MN Mortgage Broker. No one lender, broker, or banker has access to every possible Down Payment Assistance program. These websites are two of the philanthropies that MLS Mortgage Group contributes to the community. The qualified applications for programs that MLS Mortgage Group does not have access to will be transferred to the affiliate that has the specific program available.
